Da un blocco di materia grezza l’artista intravede già la sua opera — e Godimenta è scolpita come una scultura. Zenzero e bergamotto, scolpiti con tagli netti, emanano un’energia dirompente. Attorno, limone e menta si modellano in curve sinuose, superfici levigate che riflettono il tocco dell’aria frizzante. Lampone e gelsomino si inseriscono come piccoli bassorilievi, fioriture delicate incastonate nelle venature resinose dell’abete bianco.
La rosa metallica prende forma in un corpo solido e lucente, quasi tagliente, mentre l’ambra scivola in un fondo tondo e morbido, sciogliendo le asperità. Infine, i legni fragranti – sandalo, cedro, guaiaco – insieme al musk conferiscono alla scultura un calore latente e una patina sensuale che invita al tatto e alla voluttà.
